 IntroductionIn response to the success of Cycling Medicine Down Under Conference held last January, Learning and Leisure developed a one-day seminar on Cycling Medicine with an emphasis on Physiology. Plenary sessions are coupled to practical workshops that will extend participants knowledge and practice of cycling. courtesy ORS | The Super-Drome is managed by the Office of Recreation and Sport and is located 15 minutes north of the city at the State Sports Park, Main North Road, Gepps Cross, 5094. It is the headquarters for the Australian Institute of Sport’s Track Cycling Program due to its fully accredited international-standard training and competition. The Adelaide Super-Drome track was designed, and its construction supervised by track specialist Ron Webb. The Adelaide Super-Drome has hosted a number of international and national events, and is a popular destination for international teams looking for a unique environment for training camp. |
